Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and execute the comprehensive financial strategy for the city-specific low-cost housing project.
- Lead financial modeling, feasibility studies, risk analysis, and long-term business planning.
- Partner with the CEO and Project Directors to evaluate project viability, pricing strategies, and phasing plans.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the board based on financial analysis, projections, and market trends.
Skills
Capital Structuring & Fundraising:
- Architect the capital stack for the project, blending equity, debt, and potentially innovative financing (e.g., Islamic finance, impact investment, government subsidies).
- Lead negotiations with banks, financial institutions, DFIs (Development Finance Institutions), and private investors to secure construction and end-user financing.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the financial sector and government housing bodies (e.g., Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority).
