Job Summary
The Visa Sales Consultant is responsible for identifying potential clients, providing expert advice on global immigration pathways, and closing sales for visa processing services. You will act as the first point of contact, guiding prospects from their initial inquiry to the signing of a service contract.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Lead Conversion
- Lead Management: Proactively follow up on inquiries from social media, web forms, and walk-ins.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct face-to-face or virtual consultations to pitch the firm’s success rates and service value.
- Closing: Overcome objections, negotiate service fees, and secure signed contracts to meet monthly revenue targets.
- CRM Maintenance: Document every interaction and lead status accurately in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
2. Client Assessment & Advisory
- Eligibility Screening: Review client profiles (education, finances, work history) against the immigration laws of countries like the UK, Canada, Australia, or the Schengen Zone.
- Strategic Advice: Recommend the best visa category (Visit, Student, Work, or PR) based on the client’s long-term goals.
- Compliance: Stay updated on the latest shifts in global immigration policies to ensure all advice is legally accurate.
3. Operational Support
- Documentation Handover: Once a sale is closed, ensure a smooth transition of the file to the Case Processing or Legal team.
- Retainership: Maintain a relationship with the client throughout the lifecycle to encourage referrals and positive reviews.
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a sales-driven role, ideally within Immigration, Education Consultancy, or Travel/Tourism.
- Communication: Exceptional persuasive speaking and writing skills; ability to simplify complex legal jargon for clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with visa categories, points-based systems, and document verification processes.
- Mindset: Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
